Erin is a speech-language pathologist and founder of Little Tides Speech Therapy. Her work is shaped by nearly three decades on stage as a professional actress and vocalist—an immersive, lifelong practice in voice, expression, and human connection—woven together with a strong foundation in evidence-based speech and language therapy.
Her sessions are thoughtfully designed around core principles of speech science. Rather than clinical or rigid, these strategies are naturally embedded into play and connection. She supports receptive language development by helping children connect words with objects, actions, routines, and everyday experiences through repetition, visual supports, gesture pairing, and play-based interaction. To build expressive communication, Erin uses strategies such as modeling, intentional pauses and withholding, cuing, and phrase expansion to encourage children imitate, and then initiate words and phrases independently with increasing confidence.
Music, movement, sensory experiences, and imaginative play are used throughout sessions to support engagement, regulation, and meaningful communication. Erin’s integration of performance and clinical practice is grounded in evidence. Research shows that children learn best when they are emotionally connected, physically engaged, and actively participating. Erin’s background allows her to meet children in that space, creating sessions that are dynamic, nurturing, and tailored to each child’s individual learning style.
The result is therapy that feels like play—but is grounded in purposeful, measurable progress.

Erin is such an incredible Speech Therapist, she is outstanding in the classroom with her students. She's patient, compassionate, and supports her students with diverse needs. Erin has a great connection with the children and works well with the staff. She always maintains a positive and professional attitude. Her impact on the students growth is clear, and I highly recommend her.
